Houston Chapter Luncheon - December 6, 2017
Shamoil T. Shipchandler, Regional Director of the Fort Worth Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), joins us to provide an update on what to expect from the SEC in 2018 and an overview of activities from the Fort Worth Office. He will also summarize recent SEC enforcement priorities and insights into the corporate governance challenges that may lie ahead.

Mr. Shipchandler was named Regional Director of the SEC’s Fort Worth Regional Office effective October 2015. Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. Shipchandler was a partner at Bracewell LLP in Dallas, where he focused on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and compliance and related civil litigation in matters involving cybersecurity, public corruption, insider trading and other statutory and regulatory matters.
