The Middle Atlantic Chapter of the Society for Corporate Governance invites you to its Fall Conference!

9:00 am – 9:45 am: Registration

9:45 am – 10:00 am: Welcome & Opening Remarks: Yelena Barychev, President of the Middle Atlantic Chapter and Partner at Blank Rome LLP.

10:00 am – 11:15 am: Blockchain: Speakers include Hunton AK’s Scott Kimpel and Mayme Donohue and Broadridge Financial Solutions' Elizabeth Maiellano.

11:15 am – 12:30 pm: The Future of Shareholder Proposals and Investor Engagement: BlackRock’s Tanya Levy-Odom, CtW Investment Group’s Tejal Patel, Gibson Dunn’s Beth Ising, and Vanguard’s Jessica Strine.

12:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Luncheon keynote: A conversation with The Honorable Cynthia Glassman, Corporate Director at Discover Financial Services and Navigant Consulting Inc. and Senior Research Scholar at the Institute for Corporate Responsibility at the George Washington University School of Business, and former SEC Commissioner and Under Secretary for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. 

2:00 pm – 3:15 pm: Corporate Culture – Can It Be Measured? Speakers include EY’s Barbara Porter, Samsung's Janice Innis-Thompson and Temple University Fox School of Business’ Daniel Isaacs

3:15 pm – 4:30 pm: Post-Conference Networking Event: District Commons, 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

CLE: Pending.  The Chapter will seek CLE credit for this program in DE, NJ, NY, PA and VA only. Credit hours are subject to each state’s approval rules.
