HOW THE TRAVEL AWARD WORKS
Once three (3) new members join the Society using your unique link, the Society will mail you a certificate from Odenza Travel, entitling 2 adults to 7-nights of resort accommodations (one room based on double occupancy and up to 2 children 11 and under) at one of over 3,000 resorts across the world including: Canada; USA; Mexico; Caribbean; Atlantic Island; Asia; Central and South America.
There will be instructions on the certificate and a website to register your certificate. At the point of registration, Odenza will collect a fully-refundable $100 deposit by credit card. The deposit will be returned either if you do not complete a travel booking or once travel has been completed unless applied to any upgrades or customization from the awarded trip. You may transfer your certificate to another person but only before you register it online.
Once registered, you will receive an email with a link to browse through available resort inventory where you can put your resort selection on hold. When you have received your hold confirmation email you will have 24 hours to contact the reservations department in order to be assigned your own personal Odenza travel consultant who will book your awarded vacation and/or help you secure any upgrades to customize your trip. Upgrades might include special accommodations, additional nights, modified flights, car rental, attraction passes and more. Some resorts charge local taxes or fees. Your travel consultant will make you aware of these before you book your trip. You will also have the option to return to the resort inventory website in order to place another hold should the 24 hours expire without completing a booking.
Each recipient is responsible for any taxes owed on the certificate and trip received. Depending on the itinerary selected, the fair market value of the certificate may be between $800 - $2,000.
